A TICA Judge since 2005, TICA Provisional All Breed Judge Elaine Hawksworth Weitz  was nominated this year because of her tireless efforts in promoting TICA. She does this with her involvement in several shows per year ,working on last years Annual to learn how to present one in our Region the Great North West. Elaine is always ready to listen to members concerns, questions and with a smile on her face. Her dedication is admired by many in striving to make TICA NW shows must attend events!! Elaine imparts her knowledge willingly with members and actively works to encourage more people to become involved with the Cat Fancy by creating opportunities for education, learning and recognizing other peoples contributions to the Cat Fancy. Says one member, "I know there are many people in this region that are very deserving of this award but I must say Elaine amazes me with her dedication to the NW Region and seeing it grow."
